Pros

Pay can be good but you’ll be away from home.

Cons

No schedule. You can be gone days or months. 24/7 on call and only get a company truck when you go out of town instead of being issued one while still being on call. There’s zero to no chance of moving up. Hard work isn’t always appreciated.
