Lack of strategic leadership in Finance

Good people at the Staff/Manager level. Diverse workforce. Hybrid schedule.

Cons

So far in 2023 there's been layoffs (we were told to cut costs, but then they hired more managing directors), close to 1/4 of the department resigned in the last two months, no staff level new hires have been made. Some teams within Finance are doing better than others, but overall morale is low. Core did start as a people-first business. Culture in Finance wasn't always aligned, but it's only gotten worse. New CFO started in Oct/Nov 2022. Perhaps the driving force behind the changes.

Please note we have a DEIB council in place under new leadership and look forward to our continued outreach to diversity organizations and programming to support underrepresented groups grow in their career. For remote work, not all positions are applicable due to the in-person collaboration that is required, although these positions do offer hybrid opportunities. Please note the "blue" line is steps away from the office.
