Pros

Paycheck and benefits lots of overtime to experienced staff

Cons

Shady management, writing up good employees to stop them from getting better jobs( federal employment) and then acting like nothing ever happened or spying on job fairs and keeping lists of everyone that went looking for safer options then somewhere that is dangerously understaffed and constantly not keeping inmates in check and allowing them to run the facility.

You feel like you are making a difference in the inmate’s lives.

Cons

The management treats you like trash. HQ is out of touch with what is actually going on. They make snap decisions based on metrics that are not accurately captured.
