      Unlimited overtime, not that you'll have a choice

      Cons

      0 management supervision, you'll never see anyone ranked higher than a sgt and that's rare too. 0 help. You'll run an entire unit by yourself roughly 300 inmates. No home life. If your relief doesn't come they will detain you to work another shift.

      Great paying Job itself isn't too hard

      Cons

      Long hours Never knowing your actual days off so impossible to plan anything Overworked Very rarely have 2 consecutive days off Money is great but you very rarely have time to spend and enjoy it Hassle to schedule PTO and doesn't feel like enough PTO for the amount you end up working
