Unsafe environment, revolving door

Pros

Pay is good if your willing to work on your days off, unlimited overtime.

Cons

Unsafe environment. Always short staff. People quit every day because of the unsafe work environment. Every shift has less and less correction officers and most times 1 officer to 300 inmates. Do not fall for the hiring trap, run! Health insurance is basically non existent, very expensive and does not cover much or anything.
