Pros

It is an international leading university with nice and quiet environment for people who really want to learn something useful in their life.

Cons

For people working at Cornell, it is really comfortable without too intense pressures. More important, Cornell University treats them pretty well if they recruit them.

Pros

It's an Ivy league institution, so it's prestigious and the pay is good for the area. If you are involved with the community, it's a great place to be.

Cons

It's a higher ed institution, so expect a lot of work surrounding the professors. Too much red tape because all the departments/professors are like separate entities. Could streamline the culture/system here to make a better place to work.

Pros

Great financial compensation for work.

Cons

Ithaca is a very small, remote college town. Very small local population and few resources. It's a great place to live if you love outdoor sports
