Pros

Great team, really fun experience, some time to do homework while working, mostly empathetic professional staff. Get to meet really interesting people (both students and visitors) and help people learn more about Ithaca, Cornell, and the college application process! Got to build a huge network at Cornell spanning many majors and colleges, which is a lot harder to do in other clubs/organizations. Great views out of the visitor center.

Cons

sometimes professional staff might not respond to concerns/proposals, you have to have thick skin when answering phones coming into the university as callers can be insane, somewhat repetitive work (you really have to like it)
