For 35 years Cornerstone has employed a servant leadership approach toward its team members. The company views its role as one of support for an entrepreneurial sale force and capable operations staff. The resulting culture is that all are aiming at the same goal - creating a positive outcome and client experience for families engaged in obtaining a home mortgage.

Cons

A difficult business cycle over the past 18 months has predicated difficult decisions, which, however, have positioned the company for sustained success.

Pros

Cornerstone is an incredible company to be part of and has the best culture. All of the people are very nice and help lift each other up. There is strong support to always learn and grow individually and people are very willing to share their expertise. Management has spent a lot of time and effort continuously evolving the company and creating new opportunities. With some key people retiring over the past few years, new leaders have stepped up and they have done a tremendous job. They have implemented a number of initiatives that help Loan Officers win more business.
