Pros

There are some really great employees.

Cons

They're laying off employees, then hiring new people for those positions, disposing of loyal employees for new faces.

Your experience at Cornerstone is not aligned with the way we want our Cornerstars to be treated. If you would like to reach out to me directly, I would appreciate discussing with you further. - Carina Cortez

Went from great to just okay.

Pros

- Remote work is very flexible. - Good “big picture” for products. - Lots of available learning content for employees. - People who work here are amazing. - Pay is okay.

Cons

- Career growth has become a joke. We sell the idea of talent mobility, but don’t even use what we praise. They keep externally hiring for positions that should be given to internal candidates. - We’re offshoring a ton of jobs. - Rough direction from management which feels like our PE is making them scramble and it falls onto us. - Unrealistic goals in current market. - No Chief Learning Officer as a learning company? - Awful support for customers leads to upset customers. - Feels like goal posts keep getting moved back. - Lowered accelerator compensation this year.

2024 has been rough

Pros

After learning the ropes flexibility can be great.

Cons

Reduction to expense reports and travel, comp reductions, year-over-year increase to quota target, decrease in quarterly spiffs and worst of all no raises in the last 4 years.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and for all you’ve accomplished during your 5 years with Cornerstone. You have been here through many company changes - including changes in leadership, going public to private, and multiple acquisitions. It is important to remember that often the processes we’ve used in the past will not work in the future – and we appreciate our Cornerstars' flexibility and input as we continue to evolve how we work. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to discuss this feedback with your manager so we can work towards a solution together. - Carina Cortez
