Hello, Cortlandian! Our benefits, training, and incentives are just a few of the ways that we take care of our associates and give them the tools they need to succeed in their role. While it’s true that we’re numbers-driven, we’re also in the business of people – and creating an unparalleled experience for both associates and residents is how we continue to make a name for ourselves in the multifamily industry! #HaveTheCourageToBeBetter – Jonathan Tucker, EVP of Operations and Facilities

Hey, there! You got it exactly right – we are an innovative, growing company which means that we’re always looking for ways to get better. Sometimes, that comes with some growing pains, but working out the growing pains is half the fun. Thank you for being such an amazing Cortland ambassador! #HaveTheCourageToBeBetter – Ashley Gordon, VP of Talent Acquisition

Excellent Culture

Pros

Core values and focus is centered around people- from the impressive decisions that are made on behalf of the residents to the individualistic approach towards associates' career paths. The company- despite impressive growth- stays fresh, innovative and continously evolving. Most importantly, however, it still has a "family" feel. The culture remains strong, vibrant, fun and exciting.

Cons

Nothing that you wouldn't find in any large workplace. Every company is going to have its share of negativity, different leadership styles (some more effective than others), inconsistencies etc. But I'll keep any of the "cons" around in order to enjoy all the pros.
