      Used to be a good place, but no more, look elsewhere

      Pros

      Some really nice people work, or used to work there, which are a pleasure to work with. There were opportunities to move into different areas, and gain experience in different fields.

      Cons

      There is just a lot of Big Company BS - if you hear stuff like, empowerment, people are our best assets, centers of excellence, excellence award - look elsewhere. Don't belief what you hear, but notice what is going on. I left and went elsewhere. The majority of the people I liked to work with are no longer there as well.

      Pros

      _ Fair employee and health insurance benefits. _ Keep acquiring new companies that would result in more tasks being added to your plates, but in turn allow you to learn new things.

      Cons

      _ After acquiring new companies, then let 95% of the acquired employees go. _ Clueless management with no firm decision. Directions keep changing. _ Pay under Fair Market Value for your title and experience.

      Lack of opportunity, management does not invest in their employees, morale is low and an effort is not made to improve it.
