Pros

Great company culture at HQ. As a producer you are given an amazing opportunity as a young college graduate. If you keep your head down and get lucky you can create financial freedom for yourself.

Cons

Unfortunately a lot of the credit to C&Bs size goes to their trucking practice. Although the Risk Management uses the numbers of its trucking practice to prove its ability, it is actually a very small firm in the scheme of things. They hire competitive people but don't use resources to help them win. Validation seems too far away for most to stay. Turnover is incredibly high.

Pros

Zero drama, fun coworkers who really were the best part of the job

Cons

Unless you are in sales, you make squat. Your health insurance is a high deductible plan that you pay out the nose for (Even though you are working for your own insurance company!) and those making $30k a year were paying the same rates as those making $100k plus a year. I was efficient so I was given so much to do that I burned out within 3 years. It is nice to be told constantly that they only hire the best, but put some money where your mouth is. Also, learn what work/personal life balance is. There was NONE in the 3 years I worked there. I worked constantly, night and weekends as well as days.
