Cons

Only compensated fairly if you are a sales exec or higher where you get paid commissions.

Great Culture

Pros

Cottingham & Butler is a fast paced environment with room to grow your career. Your peers are knowledgeable, and the building has recently been remodeled. I look forward to coming to work every day because the culture of C&B is inviting and welcoming. The hybrid schedule is also a plus.

Cons

The only way you will grow your career is becoming close friends with the supervisors immediately after being hired. Once you've been here for a while you will soon find that to move through the ranks it really doesn't matter what you know, instead who you know. Training seems as though it's done by handful of people who really don't know what they're doing so new hires aren't always following procedure. The pay and benefits are also not competitive for the area, unless of course you find yourself in sales or a position that receives commission.
