      Pros

      Steady work, once you pass probation you're golden. I've seen people retire and be very happy with their retirement package. Long term employment.

      Cons

      Not much room for promotion, especially if you are not in the main office. Some co-workers are inept and management does not trust the employees. I've seen people get promoted because they were difficult to work with, I've been held back because my position is integral to a "political" partnership as such I'm not even considered for promotion.

      It is very challenging to scale up the ladder, but you can do it.
