The pay was great. The benefits were ok. Sick time and vacation time.

Not a lot of room for growth. Very management top heavy.

the bureaucracy, politics and incompetency is unbelievable

job security is very high

Cons

extremely political. persons in power often share the same last name as others in power (nepotism), very difficult to get anything accomplished, no one can ever get fired so incompetency is v high with no recourse. board of supervisor members are much to blame.

Pros

There were some good people, but the majority were lazy and everything was based on seniority.

Cons

Everything is timed. This is very much the old way of working, a straight 8 to 5 work schedule. No one was passionate about their job or strived to do exceedingly good work. It seemed like everything was there just to collect their pay check and go home.
