Pros

The staff here is nice, all the equipment is newer, everything is automatic if you call that a pro. You work 10-14 hr days. You also get your own truck and the loads are pretty easy. If you get stuck out past your 14 they get you a hotel(rarely happens).

Cons

Ohio area has high turn over rate because of the lost coke account over a year ago. All they do now is broker loads and run a small smuckers and water load. They will tell you they are busy during the phone interview but everyone quits after a few weeks because of the small pay checks. Out of the new people we've hired over the past 3 months, no one is here anymore. They give the good loads to their veteran drivers so they won't quit either.

Pros

Most of the workers are nice, hard work is noticed (sometimes/depends who you are), the pay was good (for me), hours were flexible, actual job was not a problem.

Cons

Favoritsm is very apparent. Unworthy people are promoted to managerial positions. These "managers" are awful to other coworkers and make mistakes constantly yet get rewarded/promoted. Another example of favoritism: one person would get in trouble for clothing but another person wearing the same outfit is fine due to who they were in relation to the company. Basically it felt like you needed to be in the "clique" in order to move up. I was constantly praised for my hard work yet other people were rewarded (other people that are the center of many complaints). High turnover rate is another con, but these pretty much go hand in hand.

Pros

Newer equipment, decent benefits and friendly trainers. Initial training period was very good and was treated fairly and respectfully. Should be a good company, all the components are there. CEO seemed okay.

Cons

Inconsistency in routes, huge pay cuts with no notice, Don't seem to care about drivers schedules calling at last minute. Local terminal people do not seem to care about people. Drivers are not treated fairly and you never know what your pay was going to be. Not what we understood it to be. It really should be a good place to work as there is potential for improvement
