Cox in general is a great company to work at. They have good benefits and seem to care about their employees.
Cons
Cox business in Phoenix is broke. Mid Market sales in particular. Mgt allows sales you are working on to be taken away by the inbound and outbound sales people. There are rules of engagement but they are not enforced. You build a relationship with customers only to have outbound call and tell them you no longer work for the company or they will tell them they work with you to get the contract. When you go to mgt they say well you didn't close it in 30 days. Also don't take a job here if you have no vendors to funnel you business...the quotas are only attainable if you have business funneled to you from outside sources. The reps who win all the awards and make bonuses have business sent to them. Also your commissions are decelerated if your installs for the month are not at a certain percentage. You have little control on speed of installs - so other departments in the company can affect your pay and hard work. Very stressful place to work- new people don't stay long.
