Pros

They care about their employees, as only a family owned company can. The opportunities to work with new technologies are many and diverse.

Cons

They jumped on the DEI bandwagon, even though they were already very inclusive and diverse.

Thanks for leaving a review, as we love hearing feedback from our teams. We're especially glad to read your comment about caring for employees, as our goal is to always put people first. Plus, it's great to know that you're able to experience many different technology platforms in your role! Regarding inclusion, diversity and equity: our ID&E policies aren't just lip-service, and they're certainly not a bandwagon. They're a way that we ensure a fair, equitable and enjoyable work experience for each person; they're also crucial to our business success, and represent the values that we're passionate about championing in our communities. We aim to create an outstanding work environment for all: a place where everyone feels a sense of empowerment, community and belonging. While we've made significant strides in this area over the years, we are always looking to improve so thanks for being with us on our ID&E journey.

Pros

I worked for RapidScale previously for around 3.5 years and loved everyone I worked with. I left to pursue other career opportunities but there's nothing like leaving a good thing and shortly realizing the grass isn't always greener on the other side. During my previous tenure, I was able to make lasting relationships with upper management and fellow employees that I missed greatly when I left. I felt and feel that I am accepted as an individual and am praised for what I bring to the table. The work life balance is also great. I feel stress free when I clock out for the day. Also, the benefits are next to none. There has been a lot of change lately with acquisitions, but I do believe they are keeping us informed as to where they see the integration of the companies going. It's the tech space, so there's always something to do but I don't feel like it is the wild wild west of tech since we're backed by a family owned company that really invests in their talent. On another note, the position/Cox is hybrid but flexible within that model and they really emphasis you putting yourself and needs first (within reason). I have enjoyed greatly their "flexible PTO" schedule, as I feel less stressed about asking for time off since it is already freely given. I would say since we're a tech space that it's still very male dominated but we have amazing female leaders who can hold their own and are great to work alongside.

Cons

Some bad hires recently in upper management have been making waves but overall has been manageable, so far.
