Stable job, make good friends sometimes, meet friendly people.. Good benefits yet they take too much money for them out

Cons

Bad communication.. Bad leadership.. Bad vacation time.. No praise or thankful for good work .. Get yelled at for mistakes that are not your own ..

Pros

The pay is fair for the number of months/hours worked. Most instructors are on 9 month contracts. Administration of the college is accessible and open to input from instructors. Teaching is a wonderful experience.

Cons

The college is disorganized. A school that has been operating for so long should have everything smoothed out. Every semester feels like a chaotic mess with last minute changes to faculty load and assigned courses. The instructors and students suffer from this habitual lack of planning. College administration changes frequently, creating an unstable environment of paranoid people.

Really great place to work, decent benefits, good time off accrual, friendly staff. seeing more of a shift towards employee satisfaction..

Cons

Would like to see the health benefits reevaluated. not competitive with but better than the company's to which they are compared to.
