Pros

Virtual training and learning opportunities.

Cons

We worked in the field straight through covid and applied all PPE and drove over 50+ miles a day home to home while the supervisors logged on virtually and worked remote. Super fast turn-over rate, all the people I worked with at the time and got hired with left within 4 months. Upon hire, one on my trainers warned me this job is not a long-term job unless you see yourself getting your masters degree to become a supervisor. Very low pay for all the work we did + mileage.

Good training

Pros

Comprehensive training and support from training RBTs and supervising BCBAs

Cons

In-home model of care is VERY unpredictable if you're after stability in the number of hours you work a week. No guaranteed hours -- caregivers can ghost you or cancel with no notice (literally while you're knocking on their door) without repercussions on *their* side, but your wallet/ time invested for the day sure suffers!

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We appreciate your feedback and recognition of Coyne’s comprehensive training and support. While cancellations are inevitable within this field, Coyne has measures in place to ensure they are not a frequent occurrence (attendance policy for families, last minute cancellation policy, and available substitute and makeup sessions for employees to gain additional hours). Coyne never reduces the pay rate for training hours or administrative hours - our staff are paid at their full hourly rate during all clinical and administrative work. We encourage you to reach out to us directly at HR@coynemail.com if you have any further questions or comments.
