Pros

The company provides a great opportunity and growth! All team members are collaborative and easy to work with. The CEO is receptive to feedback and genuinely listens to my requests. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a supportive team.

Cons

Like any job, there are challenging days, especially during the busy season. Being based in a different time zone can make scheduling tricky, but we've found solutions that work for both sides.

Engineer's point of view

Pros

I've been working at Cozymeal as a Software Engineer for a long time, and overall, the experience has been rewarding and challenging in equal measure. As a senior engineer, I really appreciate the amount of ownership and influence I have over technical decisions and product direction. It’s fulfilling to see my work making a real impact on the company’s growth. The team itself is talented, supportive, and highly collaborative. The fast-paced environment of a startup like Cozymeal means you’re never bored and you get to work on a range of interesting technical challenges, from backend scalabilities to new feature launches. Direct communication with leadership is a big plus. The structure is pretty flat, and I’ve always felt comfortable bringing up suggestions or concerns.

Cons

Like many startups, resources and processes aren’t as fleshed out as at bigger tech companies, so you have to be comfortable with some ambiguity and occasional scrappiness. Sometimes there are rapid shifts in priorities or direction, which can make it tricky to plan ahead or focus deeply on long-term projects. As we grow, there have been a few communication gaps between teams, but I think leadership is aware and actively working to improve this.
