      Pros

      There are many Crackerbarrel stores nationwide and allow employees to transfer very easily. Once you pass the par tests you can earn more money and get discounts on benefits

      Cons

      Every store has different rule and regulations to follow Management does not always manage fairly among all of the employees

      Pros

      When I was a server at the Cracker Barrel, I rarely made less than $10 an hour in tips, plus the $2.83 hourly base pay. Shifts went by quickly, and the customer turn-around was very quick. I rarely felt overwhelmed, as each server allowed a very manageable number of tables.

      Cons

      At times I felt the management was incompetent, and that the store would be better run by someone who has worked there a long time, rather than managers who undergo training for that position only.

      Pros

      It is always busy on weekends. Managers do try to accommodate schedules. Comfortable cozy atmosphere.

      Cons

      They over-staff servers all the time, resulting in not enough tables per server. Managers also play favoritism to alot of the servers, giving them the more lucrative section of tables - continuously. Alot of money could be made if more tables were given to each server. Also - managers constantly YELL in the kitchen, causing chaos. They are always yelling for servers to get their orders in the computer so that they can meet some sort of sales quota - for their own benefit only.
