Pros

Great clips if you are interested in marketing stories. But you have to be a self-starter. There's little help offered.

Cons

If you are interested in general news, this is not the place to work. You have to think everything in terms of marketing and advertising perspectives.

more pressure on profits

Pros

Strives for, and generally achieves, excellence in journalism. People try to keep their heads up despite more recent layoffs at some publications. But it's the same story anywhere in journalism these days; it's tougher to make money and cost cutting seems to be inevitable.

Cons

Health plan is limited. In terms of profit pressure, it's always a bad sign when a company eliminates free snacks.
