Pros

Good people to work with, takes journalism seriously and values editorial, pays well comparatively, the company seems to like promoting from within.

Cons

All the publications are managed independently so it can be tough to move around, which means promotion opportunities can be limited if people don't leave your own publication very frequently. Like many other publishing firms, it is still trying to come to grips with the new economics of the business.

Talented coworkers. You’ll learn a lot because you’ll be doing the work of four people.

Cons

Benefits awful, pay awful, technology awful. Unrealistic expectations without the resources, direction or feedback necessary to succeed and grow. Tons of talented young people with fresh ideas who aren’t listened to and are taken advantage of until they are burned out and miserable. Communication is a joke.
