Supervisors, editors and hr employees went out of their way to welcome me and help with any questions, paperwork and explanations of the company mission.

Cons

Still too soon. Can't think of any.

Pros

Crain's offers excellent benefits and profit-sharing and trusts senior employees to manage their departments and task independently.

Cons

Private ownership can occasionally be kind of stodgy or overly corporate where media strategy is concerned. Crain's is a traditional publisher and not necessarily an early adopter.
