      Pros

      Credit Acceptance has a great listening culture. If you have an idea or need some assistance with your work the leader's doors are always open. There isn't the typical "hierarchy" feel as in other companies. I sit in meetings with VPs and SVPs and get to have a say just like them.

      Cons

      Within some teams there are cliques and management can sometimes be involved with them.

      Pros

      Credit Acceptance is a great place to work, where team members are well-paid and treat each other with respect. The company is growing rapidly and there are many career advancement opportunities, especially because CA often promotes from within.

      Cons

      Some benefits could be improved (maternity leave) and some departments/jobs need additional flexibility in schedules. Some managers could use "soft skills" training on how to be better leaders/coaches.

      At Credit Acceptance, everyone has a voice and an ability to impact the organization; whether it is as simple as new coffee flavors, process improvement, or a significant strategic idea that drives the performance of the company. You are empowered to take ownership of your career and provided the tools necessary for professional and personal growth. We work hard but have fun at the same time and everyone shares a common goal of achieving outstanding results. Joining Credit Acceptance was truly the best move I could have made for my career.

      Cons

      I believe most companies can find ways to become more efficient and look for gaps or redundancies in processes; and we are no exception. The good thing is that we have the right leaders in place that promote feedback from those doing the work and strive for continuous improvement.
