Majority of the people here are smart, helpful, and have good intentions...CEO is a genuinely nice guy. Solid business model...The company has been around 8-9 years and has promising future (great for early employees, not that exciting for the rest). Work is more meaningful than what youd find at a typical finance company. Also, company events are cool (although they mostly take place after work so people who commute from outside city or have a family are usually left out)

Cons

This is not the place you come to work if you care about your salary. The company was on Techcrunch list for highest paying startups, which was both confusing and offensive to many people who work here as its no secret Credit Karma does not pay competitively. Management is really inexperienced (even running entire departments), constantly touting how great the culture is here and pretty oblivious to how unhappy majority of their team members are. It used to be one of the better places to work but now feels pretty gloomy. I wouldn't be surprised to see many valuable employees walk out the door this year.

Company tries to provide perks and high salaries

Cons

Toxic environment. HR creates non-sensical policies, hire unqualified friends in executive roles. Run as far away from this company as you can. I was there just for a few months. Older employees did not follow any process. They feel threatened by newer, smarter employees. Brown-nosing is rampant. Work ethic is non-existent.

Cons

Exec team has lost their way. They are indecisive and clueless. Management seems to change focus of the company from day to day. Customer acquisition has become ineffective. Pretty much everyone is looking for another job at this point. It's sad, as this was once a great place to work and a company with amazing potential.
