There used to be some

Cons

They are forcing everyone back into the offices despite the distance these individuals need to travel (traverse cities or countries!)

Thank you for sharing your concerns openly. Our working ways may be evolving but trust and flexibility remain at our core; and so does the power of being together. This evolution is not a step back but a step forward, blending office and home presence to take the best out of both worlds and boost purposeful collaboration. And while we keep offering flexible options to foster a healthy work-life balance for all, we also believe in the power and value of in-person connection. The transition isn't happening overnight and we're committed to making it as smooth as possible for everyone, adapting to people's needs the best way we can.

A company in full panic mode

Pros

Still some islands of decency and employee-centric culture.

Cons

A company heavily impacted by the shifting advertising market and losing its European roots and decency through a creeping americanisation. We moved from being nice and inclusive to "my way or the highway" mode.

How much restructuring is enough?

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Good benefits Good work life balance People are generally collaborative and friendly Internal mobility

Cons

Disorganised and mismanaged. 8% of global workforce laid off in Feb. Many roles made redundant were still open just months ago, so new hires should tread with caution. This company seems to conduct layoffs every 1-2 years (also in 2021, 2019). This results in a shrinking "legacy" team who gets more and more overstretched as they lose SMEs with deep domain knowledge. New blood which are supposed to revitalise the org and inject fresh ideas are getting also cut. Not pivoting quickly enough while other players in the industry are already encroaching on the Retail Media space.
