Training is non-existent. Scheduling is released on paper, not electronically. The hours are pretty low for a part-time position, and they are very strict about the number of hours you actually register working, i.e. if you average workhours higher than the 30hr threshold, you will either be forced to work less hours to even out the average or forced into a benefits package. Turnover is exceptionally frequent, staffing is a constant issue even in decently-staffed departments, and occasionally coworkers are let go for arbitrary reasons. Working holidays and weekends is sought after and expected. No benefits offered to part-time workers. Wage is low, and wage raises are minuscule and far between. HR is managed by only one person, and that person does not involve most HR decisions with department managers. Upper management is distant, impersonal, and unforgiving.
