Pros

The compensation was competitive for my first job out of college especially after completing a summer internship. I was one of the first campus recruiting ambassadors to be selected at the firm. I enjoyed assisting students at my university find career opportunities.

Cons

My experience as a full-time associate could not have been more unsatisfactory. Several of my colleagues were rude, dismissive and condescending. I received little, if any, professional support from Senior Staff. I was ignored or ghosted on numerous occasions. My team turned over two Managers in the span of a few months. My Partner was missing in action and unapproachable during busy season. Despite obvious signs of team burnout, last minute clients were added before deadlines. Firm leadership would deflect blame for failed initiatives and poor performance. Firm-wide austerity measures were enacted despite colleagues working exceptional hours. Mass layoffs occurred only a week after I had left the firm.
