      Pros

      Before all of the growth, Crown Castle was a great company to work for - very friendly and loving. This may still be the case in some areas but not here. The pay is okay and the benefits are outstanding, but that is about it.

      Cons

      Company grew too large too quickly due to several portfolio acquisitions. Not enough head count was provided and requests for change were often ignored. Director level and senior management are cliquey and gossipy, and if you have a black mark on your record for any reason you will be written up (often just to get you out of there).

      Pros

      - overall compensation package is strong one you hit a certain level (RSUs, bonus, 10% 401K contribution) - the people that have been around are still great

      Cons

      - culture has been significantly declining and it seems like upper management is not interested in what makes their employees happy - recent layoffs are resulting in the people staying taking on more work - compensation is supposed to be competitive but they do not care if strong performers are significantly below their benchmarks. They are willing to pay more to an external person rather than give an internal person the increase the deserve - forcing people to relocate to Houston in order to move up in the company

      Pros

      Some good people. Fair pay when times are good.

      Cons

      Undergoing a painful restructure. Did not manage cost well over the last 8 years. No mid-long term scaling strategy. Going to be unpleasant for a while, but hopefully leaders can reprioritize and return a stable culture
