CCC has wonderful field staff but the HQ needs a lot of management training

A strong sense of mission. A very caring and casual environment. Many opportunities to see and hear life changing stories.

Cons

Poor training and development of people at HQ. Leaders overwhelmed and nonleaders are often under challenged. Promoting paid staff rare.

If you are passionate about Jesus, you will do well at Campus Crusade for Christ. It is an environment that not only cares about your professional development and output, but your personal life as well.

Cons

The internal organization can seem lacking sometimes. They are working to address this though by implementing new tools and resources to change this.

Pros

1) They make sure you grow in your faith and walk with Jesus. 2) It is centered around creating purposeful products that share the good news of Christ. 3) They are interested in not only your personal growth, but within your profession as well. More specifically, how it will best serve within the body of Christ. 4) Family life focus.

Cons

1) Many of the staff are "supported" by a team of "ministry partners" that have a like-minded goal to fulfill the Great Commission. Sometimes during projects, you may loose a staff member for an unknown amount of time so they can go "raise support". 2) Budgets can be very tight for projects and take some creative thinking on how to best use the resources at hand to end with a desirable, quality, product.
