Pros

-Offers a livable wage -Benefits package -Full time hours guaranteed

Cons

You will be required to work in any store in the area, requiring to drive long distances from your home. There is far too much micromanagement. Some coworkers are completely miserable, selfish, abusive, neurotic train wrecks, and they will do anything they can to get you in trouble. For all the decent coworkers you meet in these stores, there is always one or two horrible people that make working there a living nightmare. They destroy any sense of joy you could possible attain from working there. Shoplifters are a constant problem, and will sometimes become violent if you attempt to intervene. The danger of being attacked with knives, guns, mace, et cetera is always present. Customers are often rude, disrespectful, and sometimes even abusive towards employees. If you work on the sales floor, you will be interrupted constantly by people asking to you help them locate a product, or if a product is out of stock they will demand that you go searching in the back room for it. Being asked the same questions hundreds of times a day can drive a person insane. Some Cub stores are located in very rough neighborhoods where violent crime, drugs, prostitution, poverty, and homelessness are a common problem. You never know when some lunatic might come in and start shooting people. The amount of social problems in the surrounding areas are not Cub's fault, but their stores are open to the public, and the constant presence of degenerates creates a very dangerous work environment.

Pros

Flexible schedule Fair starting wages Relaxed work environment Payday every week

Cons

Corporate management is never happy, constantly on store managers for things that aren’t important. A full time position isn’t going to happen for very many new employees
