Pros

Low Stress, Flexible schedule, work-life balance, predictable, easy to work with, available OT at times

Cons

Unionized, not enough growth opportunities, not enough change in tasks employees complete day to day (too much repetition), work load varies seasonally (although to be far it is located in a tourist type destination with 100% larger population base in the summertime.

Pros

Decent pay for now but haven't received a cost of living raise in over 20 years.

Cons

Upper management is ruining this company. Labor is slashed way too thin! They talk of customer service, cleanliness and standards but don't supply anywhere near the labor hours needed. Wholesale cost of goods from parent company Supervalu are much too high ensuring that we cannot be competitive with other grocers. Deterioration of this company began about 10 years ago but has been rapid for the last 3 years.
