Pros

Fast pace work, friendly coworkers, part time schedule for students, discounts on products, union benefits.

Cons

Lack of communication, support, and follow up. Work can be hard and staff shortages are common. can work for years before getting full time hours.

Pros

Not many... pay is about it, this is a union job (even though cub will never tell you it is) the union offers great benefits. Should you find yourself on the stpaul, side consider yourself lucky as its a great union.

Cons

This company pushes you to the limit. It's clear that the vice president doesn't now what he is doing. He is all about cutting hour down to almost nothing and watching people squirm. I was actually wrongfully terminated and sued the company and wound up getting my job back. These people do not know what there doing. Even on the Supervalu level (cubs parent company) people have no idea what they are doing. This company will be run to the ground if somone didn't do something quick....oh PS. If you end up salaried with cub/supervalu these people think they own you. You will be working 12-14 hour days, every weekend, with one day off a week.
