Pros

-Pay increases every 6 months by union agreed amount -Protected by the union meaning you can't be fired or treated unfairly by your boss -You learn how scripts are processed by doctors, insurance, and filled -Learn more about controlled substance and the laws that follow with them -Great on your resume if you are going into the medical world -Grow thick skin while practicing your customer service -A good team will be a fun time

Cons

-Must pass the pharmacy tech exam such as PTU. -Not paid enough. -Other departments tend to step out of their lane when pay stubs are wrong and they are "for lifers" acting like they're the boss of the pharmacy department. -Union dues -Under staffed!!! -Part timers can only work max 27 hours. If you want more hours you will have to work 48 hours said week.
