Management does not generally listen to workers (unless in the right clique). Everything is budget driven over doing things the right way. If you are lazy and can talk yourself up with management, you can definitely get promoted, without management asking for any feedback from co-workers. Rarely saw a project completed (local office) - always demos, but rarely get to final product. Engineers/programmers are coddled regardless of competency. Everyone else... Not a great place for creatives.
