Pros

Cummins is a company that has a lot of benefits for theis employess and the enviroiment is a very good place to work with all those social and educational program for the community. You feel like you make part of a global and good company

Cons

The supervisors have a only one way to do things (coordinated by the HR department that uses books to any word they say). They dont like that you have the right to do something by yourself or the power you have to be self motiveted or also self sufficient to do your work (even you are). You need to show you as a "dont know how to do this, need your help, my supervisor" to grow up in your carrer, even your supervisor do not have more experience than you on do this. In real, is a huge fight for ego and power.

Pros

Very good environment for minority engineers (women and foreign nationals -of which I am one). Bonuses are generous (for Australia). Salary was above market rates (and more than I had originally requested). Management was very supportive. Dynamic environment with some very smart engineers that were amazing to learn from. Great training system for engineers to build professional knowledge. Six sigma program encourages engineers to start innovative projects with the support of management.

Cons

Tough, high-stakes deadlines. Loads of pressure to find solutions quickly in the event of a breakdown. High level of pressure on individual engineers when their skills are unique or in demand
