Pros

Competitive benefits package including 401k and pension plan

Cons

Shop tools and equipment not provided. Lack of required dealership tooling. No shop equipment or supplies provided. Examples include no air hoses, extension cords, floor jacks or normal shop supplies like brake clean, cleaning discs, adhesives, spray nine, gloves, tie straps available. Points system like unskilled factory workers. Do not value employees.

Pros

Paid weekly Retirement benefits include a 401(k) match and pension Your pension isn't fully vested until 3 years of service

Cons

Cummins is currently being restructured, so many of these points may not be valid anymore. I was hired as a Service Advisor but really was tasked with answering phones most days. They really just needed a receptionist.

Pros

good work life balance and the people you work with are pretty cool

Cons

Corporate BS. They are only worried about themselves and will fire anyone to save a dime. They don't care about the employees.
