Corrupt Leadership

Pros

The company has decent benefits.

Cons

Leadership is corrupt at multiple levels and has a culture of retaliation. Leadership doesn't lead by example, says one thing but does another. Creates costly unnecessary initiatives to look "good" in the eye of the liberal public then lays off hundreds to offset those cost. HR managers target employees with conservative values and weed them out of the company.

Going Downhill, Fast

Pros

Pay is fine and the flexibility is so-so. the first 12+ years of my career it was obvious the company was employee focused and driven to meet the needs of their people.

Cons

Leadership has really gotten bad in the past 2-3 years. They're out of touch, very much a self-serving group and all actions are done in the name of delivering every last penny to the shareholder. There are no actual employee centered initiatives outside of lipservice. I've personally been looking for a promotion from hourly to salaried for the majority of my 15 years and unfortunately they aren't bothered about promoting from within.
