      Seems like a good place but really isn't.

      Pros

      Good Pay, Good People, Fun at times. Clean, I really have nothing else good to say but have to meet the 20 word minimum.

      Cons

      Backward Implementation, No Document Control, No Automated Testing, Employee Self Evaluation take up about a month total for the year. Management not seasoned enough to see past their own egos. Say they are different but in the end just another corporation.

      Promotes good community involvement from employees Excellent diversity and inclusion Contains an excellent talent pool

      Cons

      Frequent reorganization depletes talent pool; causes frustration and additional talent vacancies. Too many internal processes not followed by all levels of management. Promotion of unqualified individuals to fill a job vacancy.

      Pros

      CPG had a worldwide presence in distributed power generation equipment, and strong technical and sales teams.

      Cons

      Various regional power generation companies were purchased by the corporate parent, who imposed many unrelated processes and unknowledgeable managers onto those businesses. The results are speaking for themselves with loss of market share, retrenchment and layoffs. Corporate is consolidating former regional elements into corporate HQ, which will likely result in further erosion. This is a shame as the corporation is well known and respected for it's original line of business, diesel automotive engines.
