Pros

-Easy to make connections, senior coworkers tend to be very open to meet with you to discuss different roles and departments, once you're made it into the company -Good pay/benefits for answering phones -Opportunity to see new technologies around town

Cons

-Poor work/life balance -Lots of committees impeding work getting done -Unappealing schedule obligations -Weak HR department, in terms of career assistance -Columbus is Cummins town, there's not much else here. And it's not really near anywhere. -Absolutely constant stream of work, very little chance of getting ahead. -Very little recognition, or even contact, with my immediate manager -Very difficult customers in the call center, all day, everyday.
