      Pros

      -lots of opportunities to transition to new role within 18-24 months -team based work approach -exposure to many functions (engineering, IT, finance, logisitics) -can stay in Columbus to move around the company, but opportunities to relocate also -company is growing, so lots of opportunities in the future -easy access to management - mgmt welcomes opportunities to discuss career interests and -goals with even the most junior-level staff -very diverse workplace

      Cons

      -work / life balance is a challenge - many groups inadequately staffed -focus on six sigma is not clear - especially for some functions (IT, finance) -rewards for good performance are extremely inconsistent -company has lots of people who have never worked anywhere else - while this is a very positive sign, need more benchmarking for best practices - company had not made adequate investments in IT systems, etc., which will limit growth over the coming 20 years + -advancement in compensation is not competitive, when comparing to people who join the company after a few years of experience

      Decent work life balance, good learning and training opportunities, good dental benefits, growth available in different lines of business of growing company

      Cons

      Politics affects morale and teamwork, health insurance not greatest, pay not the best among industry, not impressed with mid-level mgmt and cyclical company (hire and fire mentalilty)
