      Carpet Baggers, Liars, Cheaters and Thieves Full of EMPTY promises. WORST Company in Saint Louis to work for.

      Pros

      Not many, other than a good product but with time that product is failing too. Had great talent prior to Cummins Mid-South buying out other distributor principals.

      Cons

      Empty promises. Not customer focused, not employee focused. Should be investigated for deceptive business practices. Claims to be christian based....far from it.

      Decent place to start, not a place for high performers

      Pros

      Good place to start Average starting salary Good opportunity for responsibility (this does NOT mean an elevation in rank though!) Good opportunity to move jobs within the same location Good opportunity to move jobs within the company or its subsidiaries

      Cons

      Low pay Very low increase in salary, 2-3% for average performers (ranked 2) and 5% for top performers (ranked 1). HR rules the roots and most managers do not have the stones to deal with HR Cummins in general has the tendency to be extremely conservative. They prefer having a VP do a Director's job, or a Director do a manager's job. This is NOT the place for quick promotions! Cummins is DEFINITELY not a meritocracy.
