Pros

8 hour work day is pretty standard. Work isn't too hard.

Cons

There don't seem to be any experts anywhere. Little opportunity to develop technical skills. Too bureaucratic and lots of the work you are asked to do has very little value add so it not very satisfying. Also, difficult to build a resume doing such trivial tasks.

Pros

Cummins is progressive in its values and vision for the diesel industry. They are ethical and committed to diversity.

Cons

The vision doesn't always roll down to lower level managers, and you will find very old-school thinking at the plants.
