Pros

It is good pay here

Cons

They do a lot of friend hiring within the company, when problems happens on management the staff pay the price, and they expect to do everything but your job.

Decent Gig

Pros

Great pay and meals/snacks are provided. Benefits are also great and plenty of PTO and sick days. Never had a problem with co-workers or managers and everyone was very nice. Low stress job for the most part. Great job for a recent graduate temporarily.

Cons

Food quality suffered over time and we at one point had food trucks and before I left it was just cold subpar food. The work can be very monotonous(thankfully listening to music is allowed) and overtime my back and shoulders started to hurt from the repetitive work sitting down. It is also very difficult to get promoted/move to a different department in the company regardless of your degree and experience. Nepotism is huge here and sadly the really good jobs go to people who aren't necessarily the best workers or most qualified. For example, I have a STEM degree with experience and was one of the best accessioners and lost out on a better paying position in the company to someone with no degree and barely any experience because that person knew the interviewer. Regardless, it's a good company to get your beak wet but not great if you want to learn some real lab skills. I would have left anyways, but who knows maybe I would have stayed if I got that position.

The people you work with in the lab are great

Everything else... upper management is the worst, they don't care about us at all, they have super strict rules which probably end up harming g the patient

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We recognize that as our company has evolved quickly, our ability to offer management and leadership skill development has not occurred at the same pace. In addition to recent training that was launched over the past couple of months, we will continue to assess what our needs are and address skill gaps accordingly.
