Cons

Needs better management, Promotions given to boss's favorites even if they are not qualified, Too much stress for no reason, No real leadership. Start running company like its 2023. Not 1950.

Pros

Pay is about average for the area. Steady work and company makes an effort to not lay off in a down turn.

Cons

Benefits are expensive and coverage is below average. New employees do not have pension even though they were able to offer it for 60 years to the the older employees. The company thinks it is still a premier employer in the area but times have changed.

Left alone for the most part to do your work, very laid back environment in this department, team leader is very easygoing, work isn’t too terribly hard.

Cons

Not willing to give raises that meet current living wage, engineers seem clueless as to what they do here. Upper level management can be intrusive at times, totally botched the implementation of a new operating system and see no fault in their actions. Certainly no understanding of how to improve things.
