- Promotions only happen twice a year - if you're promoted in the summer, you don't see a pay increase until the following spring
- When you leave the company, you only get paid out for PTO accrued in that calendar year (e.g. if you leave in January with 40 hours rolled over from the previous year, will only get paid for whatever was accrued in January)
