Pros
99 percent of the people there are nice, helpful, and respectful. Most of management is nice and understanding. Work from home usually depends on what team you are on but it seemed like most managers were very flexible. The work can be rewarding and you aren’t penalized or looked down on when work is slow or you spend some time to talk to a coworker. A lot of former Pratt employees work here and the good ones are always willing to help. A lot of others tend to jump to Pratt when they leave.
Cons
There are a handful of problem people that management knows about yet never does anything to address, even when it’s brought to their attention. There are a handful of people who think they’re better than everyone else there and they tend to lie about how much they do. Despite knowing this management brushes all the concerns under the rug. Pay is 15-25 percent below market rate for a lot of positions. They’ll tell you it’s because they don’t have the money in the SOW but it’s really because they want to pocket more money from the SOW. Raises are done based on what position you have, not the amount of work you have contributed. If you do the most work on your team your raise will be the same as the person who did the least amount of work. The benefits are laughable. Barely any PTO and health benefits aren’t much to write home about. Your job is always up to whether or not your SOW gets renewed.
