Pros
- Exposure to Finance, Medical, Legal, and 911 dispatches, you can build your vocabulary in your target language - Great training timeline, you are paid hourly even in training, and supervisors provide great feedback and take the time to pace you. You will be taking call after call, with 15 min breaks every 3 hours and a lunch either 30, 45, or an hour long, up to you.
Cons
- Because of the amount of calls I was taking, there were times where I felt like I needed to decompress after a difficult call but jumped back into the next. Keep in mind however, the organization does offer personal breaks if you need, and while they advise to not use them daily, I found that they weren't micromanaging people on this. - The pay is around minimum wage, that's the primary reason I left.
